Section 1200: Arborist Tools

Saddles that are lightweight in design and economical without sacrificing quality. These 4 dee ring saddles are constructed with 3" single thick cotton webbing, reinforced with 1-3/4" nylon on the back and seat sections. An accessory snap on the right side, and 1-3/4" steel ring on the left side helps keep equipment accessible.

A rope snap finally made to work like a non-locker. The interior lock mechanism does not allow the unit to malfunction due to bent tabs. A bent tab is a typical problem on old locking snap hooks. Also, the new design has a wider opening to ease connecting and detaching to the saddle dee rings. The hinge points are located to make operation easy. Tip of bill to body opening is 15/16". Overall length is 6". Rated to 5000 pounds 22 (kn).

The original Buckingham tree climber. The permanent gaff is 3 1/2" (89 mm) long. It has a loop-style attachment and a standard 4 3/4" (121 mm) width straight stirrup.

Drop forged steel blades. Two Pulley rope string, cuts limbs up to 1-1/2" diameter. Universal saw can be attached to head. Mounted on 12" fiberglass shaft with universal adapter and 25 foot polypropylene rope.

Lightweight 16 inch curved blade for fast easy cutting. Use with A10016 universal saw handle and all poles equipped with standard universal head.

Lightweight aluminum handle for use with universal saw where limbs can be reached and insulation is not needed.

Made of top grain 8-9 oz. saddle leather. Suede filler strips for easy insertion of curved 16" saw. Securely stitched and rivet-reinforced. Can be used for safe storage of saw when not in use and prevents accidental cuts when reaching in your storage compartments for your saw or other tools. The Scabbard has a belt loop on the back.

Our most popular pruning saw is an excellent choice for clean and easy removal of branches. The 137 series saws replace our 124 and 127 saws. Cuved blade, 5 points per inch.

Specially suited for quick removal of large branches. Raker tooth design with deep gullets makes large cuts without binding. Curved blade, 5 points per inch plus gullets.

This state of the art ground Tri-Edged tooth pattern is extremely sharp for precise and quick cutting. The 22" length is ideal for climbers to use on larger limbs.

We offer professional grade leather and belted rubber scabbards for our saws. They are easily attached by means of a ring on the back side of the scabbard to your climbing saddles's accessory snap. All are sturdy and stiff for one-handed insertion or removal of your saw. These scabbards feature enlarged front cleanout holes near the bottom to prevent buildup of debris.

*Double saw scabbard adds a second smaller outer scabbard that accommodates the small pruning saws in addition to the full size hand saw, keeping both saws within easy reach.

The Long Reach Chain Saw Holder will store any standard hydraulic "stick saw". Designed to keep the tool out of the bucket when working around electrical lines, this holder is also ideal for storing expensive hydraulic pruning tools when the vehicle is in transit.

Since the introduction of throw bags and slickline, climbers have been able to achieve higher placements of climbing line over desired limbs from the ground. With a little pratice, the throw bag can be tossed into a tree with accuracy up to 75'. Throw bags are available in weights ranging from 12 oz. - 20 oz., in a wide variety of colors. Buckingham Throwbags have a tighter, more aerodynamic design. All seams are reinforced with two loops of stitching, and the steel ring is fastened with five rows of stitching for added durability.
